Staying at Matsunoki-Tei felt like stepping into a warm embrace of Japanese hospitality, where the couple running the lodge were genuinely welcoming despite any language barriers. The traditional Tatami rooms provided a cozy retreat, allowing us to unwind after a thrilling day on the slopes, while the on-site onsen promised relaxation at its finest. The complimentary ski storage added a layer of convenience, making it easy to gear up for our next adventure. Located just across the road from the ski slopes, the lodge was perfectly positioned for an unforgettable winter getaway. With delicious breakfasts and attentive service, we felt that every aspect of our stay offered remarkable value for money. Matsunoki-Tei isn't just a place to rest; it's an experience to savor amidst the serenity of Hakuba.
